Specialty lighting is a key component to the design of a wedding. It sets the mood and elevates the formality of the event. With the use of innovative technology, Events by Design will transform your wedding from typical to extraordinary.
If you want lighting for your wedding that is innovative, stylish and provides the ultimate look, then mood Lighting or up lighting is for you. The ambient lighting that we use is a cost effective way of changing the mood or feel of your function room.
Up Lighting, often referred to as Ambient lighting, is one of the main services we offer at Events by Design. These lights can consist of efficient LED lighting or your basic can lights. Both have their advantages and disadvantages.
All LED lighting can be programed to almost any color. Over 50,000 different colors can be made with the mixing of the red, green and blue LEDs but remember, many color changes are so slight that they are not visible to the naked eye.

Mood lighting is fantastic at highlighting features in your venue such as plants, fireplaces, staircases, pillars, etc.
Can Uplighting- With a large variety of colors available, this form of lighting remains the same color throughout the event. Up lighting is a beautiful way to enhance any space.
LED (Light Emitting Diode) Uplighting- With an even larger variety of colors, 1.6 million to be exact, this form of lighting allows for programmability of color change. The design of a space can change in a matter of seconds. LED's are ideal for design and functionality AND are "green" due to their power efficiency.
Pin Spot Lighting - This form of lighting is used to enhance and brighten centerpieces, cake tables, food stations and/or any other focal points of the space.
Gobo Lighting - This form of lighting uses an image or design, such as monograms, floral patterns, or landscapes, and is projected onto the floor, wall, or ceiling.
